Delta Force Football Club History

Delta Force Football Club also known as Delta Ambassadors is a Nigerian Football team that is based in Asaba, Delta State. They played in Nigeria National League (Professional League) and their official stadium where they do training and other soccer activities is at Jay Jay Okocha Stadium which is located in the city of Ogwashi-Uku Delta State, Nigeria.

The club was initiated as one of the Nigerian football team in the year 2001 and is still in existence, the club current chairman and manager devotedly sees that the activities of the club run smoothly and more than expected. 

In the year 2003, the club gained promotion to the second division when the state government bought over an amateur slot. The club ended their 2009 season in fifth place of the Nigeria National League after striving for promotion throughout the season.

After the 2009 season, the club encountered a pitfall as they were relegated by the Delta State government as well as disbanded due to lack of funds and abandonment from their state government but was later restored back to their position and restructured to participate in Nigeria league games.

Since then the club has been doing so well in their matches both within Nigeria and Africa coupled with their talented players making positive headways in tournaments across the globe. The club won a trophy against J. Atete Football Club f Warri in the finals of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa Pre-Season Championship held at the Sapele Township Stadium.
